Where: 1100 E. Howard Lane, on the northeast corner of Howard Lane and Harris Ridge Boulevard.
Who: Formaspace Technical Furniture leased 56,700 square feet.
The company makes custom workbenches, worktables and laboratory furniture.
Robert Shore, Mike Murphy and Chad Barrett of Aquila Commercial LLC represented the landlord. Formaspace represented itself.
When: Hutto-based Forma-
space plans to move into the new space next summer and increase its work force from 42 to 70 employees.
Details: The Harris Ridge Business Center is a 395,000-square-foot industrial development.
Formaspace might benefit from the center's "triple freeport" tax-exempt property designation, which means that companies don't have to pay property taxes on inventory that is shipped out of Texas within 175 days. The larger lease allows the company to add employees and machinery.
