Recently joining AQUILA Commercial to be the founder/leader of the Project Management service line, Todd has nearly 13 years of experience with leading and managing complex development and construction projects.
Prior to his career in Commercial Real Estate, Todd served for five years on Active Duty as a Captain with the Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Hood, TX. Upon completion of his military service, Todd joined Faulkner Construction in Austin, and built several high-profile projects, notably The Nokonah and the Austin City Lofts.
Most recently, Todd spent just under four years with The Staubach Company in Austin, managing a diverse scope of projects from data-centers, to office TI projects, to build-to-suit development and owner/occupier facilities solutions. With a background in both government and private sector construction project management, Todd brings a broad set of analytical skills and proactive leadership to his clients’ projects.
Notable Transactions
• Diabetes & Glandular Disease MOB and Clinical Research Facility. Provided Owner’s Representative services to the Owner-Occupier and managed the Fee Developer along with the AEC team. The project was valued at nearly $24M and consisted of a 4-story, 80k SF building and associated sitework.
• College Houses Super Co-op. Provided Owner’s Representative services. Managed the redevelopment of the client’s West Campus (UT) real estate asset into a new 6-story, 176-bed, 100k SF, $14M student-housing co-op. Start of demolition to time of occupancy: 13 months.
• 3COM, TippingPoint. Provided Project Management services for the design and construction of a Tier-1 data center in a Class-A suburban office building, along with other technical lab areas, support areas and standard office interior improvements. The project was valued at $5.5M and affected 43k SF.
• NetQoS. Provided Project Management services on multiple occasions as the client’s office, technical and logistical spaces needs have continued to expand up to 75k SF at Plaza on the Lake.
• St. Jude Medical. Provided Project Management services on multiple occasions as the client’s office, training and support spaces needs have continued to expand to almost 90k SF at Las Cimas.
• Midway Games. Provided Project Management services to build-out a new 35k SF space in a 40 year old former industrial building.
• Prodigy Health Supplier Corporation. Provide Owner’s Representative and Development Management services to a former tenant, turned Owner-Occupier.
